Spirit of Service

In the spirit of expanding our fellowship among one another, this summer we will be introducing a “Spirit of Service”. This will be done in a two fold effect, one by strengthening our already existing ministries that we have in the church and the other by giving back to the community in which we live. This is an opportunity to serve with your brothers and sisters in Christ and help strengthen the bond that we share with each other on Sunday morning.

What we are asking is that each family be willing to give 10 hours a month of service for the next four months (June, July, August, September). Imagine the work that could be done for the Lord if each family were to take this challenge. This is not just for adults. This is a chance to teach your children the importance of integrating reaching out to others as a part of everyday life. If your family doesn’t attend this church you’re not alone. Join others like yourself and become a family dedicated to serving the Lord.

If 50 families took the challenge we would be able to give 2000 hours of real ministry time. But let’s not stop there. 75 families would give us 3000 hours and 100 families would give us 4000 hours of ministry. Join me in giving this summer and let’s continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
