Outreach

Women’s Ministry (L.I.G.H.T.) and Mulberry Women

This group is the stewards of the Hannah Browning Grant money that is received by our church and other churches in the community. The money is earmarked for use for women’s ministry. This money is used to provide activities for fellowship and spiritual growth among the women of our church. It is also used to support ministries that directly affect the lives of women in our community and throughout the world. Contributions have been made to programs such as the Women’s Winter Shelter, Operation Christmas Child and Heifer International. In addition to activities planned and supported directly by this group, funding is also provided for  Women activities, Women’s Bible Study materials and leadership experiences for teen girls within the church.

MULBERRY STREET WOMEN - meets monthly at 9:30 am in the church parlor.

This community of women strive to grow spiritually and participate in the global ministries of the church. They welcome other women to come and expand in their personal growth in knowing God.

As the shawl is made, the crafter offers prayers for the person who will receive it; praying that the gift will be a reminder of Christ’s love for them and a sign of hope and caring from our church family. Blankets are also given to the new babies in the church with the same care and consideration.

Loving God our Father!

When you turn to the Lord Jesus you delight his heart!   You know the feeling when someone rushes forward to greet you with a smile and hug.  You feel so loved and acknowledged!   Perhaps that's how God feels when we call on his name in worship and prayer, acknowledging him as our heavenly Father and honoring him above all else.
