J Walkers

The MSUMC Youth Program.  "J" Walkers   (Jesus Walkers)
Open for Grades 6-12Bring your friends!

When gathered on Sunday mornings, teens meet in the Youth Room for Bible Study.  Currently the
teens are doing a study on the Holy Spirit..  Our discussions are great and we
welcome others to join us!  The teens also have their own puppet team, called "Praisin Puppets!"
Additional pictures are shown here of the fun they are having with their puppets and the music!
Praisin Puppets can come to your location, if you are interested!  We praise Jesus in a joyful way!

The teens have their own newsletter each month titled "The "J" Walker Journal.  Do you know a teen who would like to read this?  Contact Barb, the youth director at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Our youth group has their own space in the educational building.  Their room has been designed as a mini cafe, with black and white chairs painted by the teens!

*Think of others first! Use manners in everything, and always be remembering to say a word of "thanks".

We give thanks unto You, O God, because we can approach Your throne, at any time, with freedom and confidence! Father, we thank you that we are Your workmanship and our identity is found in You. We are grateful that we were chosen before the foundation of the world, that you adopted us, that you love us, and that we belong to You. When we are tempted to worry about what others think or we are afraid of how others see us, God remind us that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We are no longer condemned; we are forgiven. We are delivered. We are healed. We are set free. We are overcomers by the Blood of the Lamb! We are Your sons and Your daughters. Hallelujah! We are victorious. In Jesus' name, Amen.   (By T.Morrison)
